With my background, I am fortunate enough to be able to complete my creative process from start to finish. As I grew up in New Orleans I watched my mom daily sew for clients and for my sister and I. Also, if I wasn’t watching her, I was at my dads’ drafting table watching him turn straight lines into homes, churches, many other structures. So, when I decided to start exhibiting my art, I already had the creative foundation to take the paintings future. Now I still enjoy seeing a project through to the end.

![Although I created my own patterns, I honestly have learned to "freestyle" (like my mother). This helps every item really feel one of kind.](http://www.nataliaveronica.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/IMG_2400-300x300.jpg)
