A pastime can look very different for everyone. For me and likely millions of others it is cooking. Growing up in New Orleans, home of world renown cuisine, food has allows been a major part of my life. Just like Jazz or creating an amazing painting, a plate can serve as a brilliant canvas! I personally enjoy the prep time that proceeds every dish. It is a build up to something tasty and satisfying.
